It is finally here...

I spent almost 3 hours  clicking every button. I haven't even touched the manuals. They are still wrapped in plastic. I just unpacked the camera, checked everything was in order, stuck a lens in it and the batteries and started messing around with it. So far everything seems very intuitive... 

It's 01:40 AM, and I think I'm taking it to bed with me

I need to get a new camera.

Been trying to resist the urge... But I'm giving in. I've found myself looking at camera sites, stopping when I spot a store's window display that has some camera's in it. So I guess I'm doomed.

Options:

A Canon DSLR? The "old" 30D or the all shiny and new 40D? I started with a 300D and really like SLR's. On the other hand I would like something easier to carry and a lot less inconspicuous, not to mention much less expensive. I like Canon, and have had no issues with their equipment, so I'll probably stay with Canon. Gotta have a look (and check how they feel in my hand) to Canon's non-SLR camera's. Powershot G9 perpaps? It sure looks good in the pics :)

Got food for thought now....

Ter um telemóvel novo que também tira fotografias, tem as suas vantagens... Tenho de o experimentar, ora essa.
